Kelly Clarkson appears to be scheduled and busy for the foreseeable future.

Not only is the musical icon returning as a coach for season 23 of The Voice, but on November 7 it was also revealed that her daytime programme The Kelly Clarkson Show has been extended for two more seasons through 2025.

The NBCUniversal Syndication Studios-distributed programme, which is now in its fourth season, has won several Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show and Host since it debuted in 2019.

Not to add, a number of her well-known “Kellyoke” song covers, such as her interpretations of Olivia Rodrigo’s “Traitor” and Billie Eilish’s “Happier Than Ever,” have become internet sensations.

Tracie Wilson, executive vice president of NBCUniversal’s Syndication Studios and E! News, referred to Clarkson as “one of the brightest lights of our day” in a news release.

She went on, “The Kelly Clarkson Show has provided a place for tales that entertain, spark critical dialogues, and connect with devoted fans across many generations in significant ways, garnering more than 500 hours of viewing across broadcast, cable, and digital platforms since its debut. We’ll continue to build on the popularity and heritage of the programme together with our top-notch production staff.”
The show presently has an average audience of 1.34 million people and is broadcast in 211 local markets nationwide. On the programme, which is directed by Emmy and Gracie Award-winning showrunner and executive producer Alex Duda, Clarkson doubles as an executive producer.

Along with the renewal of her talk show, it was also revealed that Blake Shelton, Niall Horan, and Chance the Rapper would join Clarkson as coaches on the upcoming season of NBC’s The Voice. This will be Blake Shelton’s final season on the reality competition series.
