The record pushed Tyson toward what he has called “Outlaw Southern Metal” a sound where heavy guitar driven rock meets country storytelling and Southern influences.

The next chapter is already taking shape.
Tyson is preparing to release his new album, Livin My Dream, with the release planned for mid-October. The new project features 18 songs, continuing the hard-edged outlaw-country direction that has emerged in his recent work. Tyson describes the sound as a finely tuned mix of hard rock and outlaw country a combination he likens to the meeting point of artists such as Sammy Hagar and Kris Kristofferson.
For Tyson, however, the album is about more than genre.
It is about the realization of a dream.
The opening title track, “Livin My Dream,” is an edgy acoustic ballad centered on the idea of a musician finally seeing his lifelong dream become reality. After decades spent writing, performing, producing, collaborating, and continually reinventing himself, the song carries an obvious personal significance.

“I love what I do, I have a strong passion for music and writing stories of everyday things.”
