Listen to Fleet Foxes’ brand-new song, “A Sky Like I’ve Never Seen”

The soundtrack for the newest Prime Video documentary Wildcat was created by Tim Bernardes and Robin Pecknold.
Tim Bernardes, a Brazilian singer-songwriter, is a featured artist on the new Fleet Foxes song “A Sky Like I’ve Never Seen,” which was just released. It was created by Robin Pecknold for the Prime Video documentary Wildcat, which follows a former British Army soldier and a Ph.D. candidate as they attempt to save a young ocelot in Peru. The song was captured in Amsterdam and New York. The video is below.

Pecknold stated in a news release:

In addition to being impressed by all the collisions inherent in the film’s conceit—between species, between hemispheres, between individuals, and between the psychological and the natural—I was inspired by how the movie used uncommon methods to arrive at something that was universally touching. I created this tune while stealing time from a global tour and working in hotel rooms and rented studios. It was a pleasure to be asked to work with Tim once more on a song that would serve as a capstone to this original and moving tale.

The 2020 album Shore by Fleet Foxes, which received a Grammy nomination for Best Alternative Music Album, is followed by “A Sky Like I’ve Never Seen.” In promotion of the record, the band performed a series of gigs alongside Bernardes.
