New court records purportedly filed by Kanye West indicate that his divorce from Kim Kardashian may soon be finalised.
In February of last year, Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Kanye West. The former pair has seen many ups and downs since their breakup, including West’s internet tirades against Kardashian and her family. According to recent reports, the rapper is prepared to finalise his divorce from Kim and has already initiated legal proceedings in that regard.
Following the hire of one of the most powerful lawyers in Hollywood, who had previously represented Melinda Gates in her divorce from Bill Gates, Page Six reports that Kanye appears to be prepared to officially finalise his divorce from his estranged wife Kim. A “declaration of disclosure,” which is typically submitted when a divorce case is about to be finalised, has reportedly been filed by the rapper, according to a source who spoke with Page Six. According to the document, the 45-year-old singer has given Kardashian all of his financial details.

While the ex-couple reportedly agreed to divide their multi-billion dollar empire, they haven’t yet agreed on who will have custody of their four children, North, 9, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3. This could lead to a messy legal battle given the rapper’s allegations against Kim about her refusing to let him see their children as well as his accusation that the Kardashians “kidnapped” his daughter Chicago on her birthday and withheld the address of her father.
Interview with Tucker Carlon
In a recent bombshell interview with Tucker Carlson, Kanye discussed his co-parenting arrangement with Kim and said he won’t make any concessions about his children’s schooling. We’ve reached a solution for my kids to attend my school after school so they can take choir, but Kanye declared, “I’m not finished because I don’t compromise.”
According to West, Kim has custody of their kids “80%” of the time. Along with cutting off contact with West due to his social media activities, the founder of SKIMS apparently does not discuss their children’s schedules with West without her assistant. Rapper took out Kardashian and her ex-boyfriend Pete Davidson in an interview on a podcast a week ago for one of Kardashian’s confessions about her sex life on The Kardashians.
