Another day, another business endeavour from Snoop Dogg. Snoop Loopz cereal is the latest breakfast offering from the rap mogul, who has already launched a cookbook, his Snoop Cali Red wine with 19 Crimes, a food competition special with his best friend Martha Stewart, and a line of hot dogs aptly titled “Snoop Doggs” that we’re still eagerly awaiting.
The cereal will be distributed by Snoop’s Broadus Foods, which he co-founded with New Orleans rapper Master P and whose real name is Calvin Broadus. And the latter is no stranger to the food industry, having introduced his own line of goods that includes drinks and chips as well as rice, beans, grits, and oatmeal under the “Uncle P’s Louisiana Seasoned” brand.
A handful of admirers reacted with excitement when Master P revealed the cereal on Instagram earlier this week. Broadus Foods announces the release of Snoop Loopz, the best-tasting cereal in the game. @snoopdogg, we’re taking over the supermarkets. Snooploopz.com The caption for the picture of the cheerful cereal box spinning to the tune of Snoop’s 1998 track Still A G Thang stated, “The more we make, the more we give.”
Master P teased the cereal’s flavour notes on Twitter even though a release date has not yet been announced. “What sets us apart from the competition is MORE Corn, MORE Flavor, & MORE Marshmallows. You will ADORE SnoopLoopz if you like Fruit Loops!
I’m not sure how that will taste, but I can’t wait to give it a try!
