Florence Pugh writes a letter of love to “EPIC.” Don’t worry, darling; Olivia Wilde’s song “GRATEFUL” is on the team.

Florence Pugh stated on Instagram while posting BTS images, “Don’t Worry Darling was filmed in peak Covid times and was such an amazing story on a huge scale. I will always be appreciative for that.”

Florence Pugh appears to be letting the past go as this week’s release of Don’t Worry, Darling hits theatres in the US! In case you were living under a rock, it has been widely known that the Oscar-nominated actress and Olivia Wilde were at odds while filming. In a recent exposé, Vulture even alleged that the two engaged in a “screaming match” while filming the movie.

But now that Don’t Worry Darling is out for public consumption, Florence Pugh wrote a heartfelt Instagram post in which she thanked Olivia Wilde and the entire DWD team. Posting a number of incredible behind-the-scenes photos from the Don’t Worry Darling set, including a sweet close-up snapshot of the Dune sequel star playfully sticking out her tongue, one endearing image of Pugh and Wilde dancing in character caught everyone’s attention.

Don’t Worry Darling, Florence Pugh’s homage reads as follows: “It is present and available for viewing. In theatres now is @dontworrydarling! While working hard in the arid dust and looking fantastic, we met so many great people and travelled to some bizarre places. (Thanks to @hebathormakeup, @jaimeleigh.hair, and @ariannephillips) I’d want to thank everyone who purchased tickets and those who have already seen the film. Whenever I witness incredibly stunning movie scenes on big screens, I constantly have to remember myself that a boom may be just inches away. or footprints on the ground around the performers’ waists. It’s absurd to think that setting up and performing each scene takes a significant chunk of a day, and on this one, there was a lot to do! Explosions, automobile chases, balancing cocktails on one hand while running, drinking, and more running. This movie required such a vast budget and a production of an epic plot during the height of Covid. I will always be appreciative for that. Thank you to everyone who contributed; your commitment and affection were evident every day. Here are some photos I shot throughout this time to conclude. More is coming! #dontworrydarling”

In a subsequent Instagram post, Florence Pugh added even more fantastic behind-the-scenes photos from the production of Don’t Worry Darling, with the comment, “The moon was setting as the sun rose. Dontworry Darling’s handle on Twitter.”

While Florence Pugh, boyfriend Harry Styles, and Don’t Worry Darling writer-collaborator Katie Silberman are all disguised and relaxing outside vanity vehicles with scripts and coffee in hand, Olivia Wilde also released a BTS photo from the Don’t Worry Darling set in which she is seen grinning gleefully. The caption by Wilde says, “The doors to Don’t Worry Darling are now open. Aaahhhhhhhh!!!!!!! I am incredibly appreciative of both this experience and the incredible work put out by the group of artists who made it possible. We came together to tell you a narrative, and we hope you enjoy it.”

We’re delighted to see Florence Pugh and Olivia Wilde enjoying Don’t Worry, Darling, as both women poured their hearts into the film.
