“I fell asleep… On Thursday’s episode of The Kardashians, Kourtney admitted that she had to walk back through the hotel after throwing up and had to take off her top and unbutton her jeans.
When Kourtney Kardashian thinks back on her impromptu marriage to Travis Barker in Las Vegas, she only has good memories.
Kourtney, 43, talked about her unauthorised marriage to Travis on Thursday’s episode of The Kardashians. The ceremony took place at the One Love Wedding Chapel after the 2022 Grammy Awards in April at around two in the morning.
Kourtney admitted that she “blacked out” for the majority of the evening, even spending some of the night puking up after consuming too much wine, despite having happy recollections of it.
The founder of Poosh first discussed the wedding after a producer enquired about it and they were unable to attend. “Well, what do you know? She retorted in a confessional, “I think what occurs in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas. “I have no idea where to start,”
Then Kourtney started to talk more about the evening. Vegas is great fun with Travis. He said, “Let’s make this the best night ever. It’s the Grammys, and it’s our first Grammys together,” she recounted.
Kourtney claimed she and Travis, 46, started “searching up lovely tiny chapels” after discovering “the nicest vegan sushi dive restaurant in a strip mall.”
Elvis was the only one available at that time, so we knew he had to marry us, she claimed. “Nobody was around, [our] security was there, the manager was there, but I blacked out, I genuinely don’t recall,” the speaker said.
She said, “I don’t even recall Elvis singing to me as I walked down the aisle. I had forgotten that I had a bouquet,
Kourtney went on to explain how she was “slurring” her speech and that the Elvis Presley lookalike unintentionally addressed her by her sister’s name, Khloé, as she showed her friend Simon Huck pictures and videos from the wedding on her phone.
In reference to her and Travis’ response to the name-related hiccup, she remarked, “I lost my mind, fell straight on the floor, and we couldn’t get up.
Kourtney continued, “I did throw up after, though, and had to walk back through the hotel with a million people taking my picture. I also pulled my top off and unbuttoned my jeans. I was a slobbering hot kebab.
We attempted to obtain a licence, but they refused to issue us the certificate because it was two in the morning, she said. What could be more enjoyable than a night in Vegas? And I’m sure we could have obtained a licence the following day. To be honest, I’m living my finest life. Don’t let anyone convince you otherwise!
Kourtney had no regrets about the event, but when her mother Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian talked about the wedding, Kris Jenner had different feelings.
Can you believe that Kourtney and Travis got married in Vegas? Kris, age 66, asked her daughter later in the programme.
Kim, 42, replied casually, “It’s not real. “Everyone has done it once in their lives,”
Kris remarked, referring to Kim’s brief union with music producer Damon Thomas, “Yours was real. (When she was 19 years old, the former couple eloped in Las Vegas; they later were divorced in 2004.)
“We’ve done it all,” Kris carried on. “I’ve never done it. Who are “we all?”
It would be so terrible if Kourtney actually got married in Vegas without me being there, but I guess I’ll get over it, Kris continued in a confessional. I’ve actually gone there and done that. Kim also did it. I wasn’t even informed when [Kourtney] returned home!
Kim informed Kris that the marriage was not real after she had inquired about it once more. Yes, it’s enjoyable. If they had obtained a permit, I believe they would have wed in a civil ceremony.
Kris replied, “She was as wasted as a skunk! throwing up while lying on the ground. Who desires a union like that? Then Kim said, “Who doesn’t?”
